"Fail fast. Fail hard. Fail Often." - Reshma Saujani, Former CEO of Girls Who
Code
My purpose is to learn and help others along the way. I'm an active
student in our Computer Science department at Purdue University.
Serving as an executive member of the Undergraduate Computer Science
Board and teaching assistant for a freshman seminar, I hope to build
programs and instruction in courses to improve retention rates of
underrepresented groups in Computer Science.
My DISC ratings are S/I, which stand for Support and Inspiration. I
hope to mitigate the fear often associated with working in the tech
world. Making the environment inclusive and encouraging from the
university level will allow for a diverse and equitable industry
environment.
I hope to lead a career in Fintech. Math and economics have always
been intriguing and favorite subjects of mine; with my knowledge in CS
I hope to work on the crossroads of business and technology.
